FAQ

What medium do you use for your original paintings?

I mainly use acrylic base paints. I also use additional ‘mixed media’ products that can include pencil, oil sticks, oil pastel inks in some paintings. I list the main mediums used next to my painting information on my site.

All paintings have a varnish or equivalent to protect them and give a gloss / semi gloss finish.

Please note the colours you see on your screen may different to the final painting. I try to replicate them as closely as possible but there still may be slight discrepancies as I have no control over your own screen settings. Please email me directly rosemarywarmington@gmail.com prior to purchase with any questions or concerns.

How do I find out out what paintings are available to buy?

I list my paintings with prices on my website. I also give notice of new paintings via Instagram and my Face book page where you can also send me messages about availability.

How do I stay in touch to hear about new work and exhibitions?

To hear about my new paintings, offers and exhibitions subscribe to my 6 weekly news letter to get information on my new works and upcoming events. You can subscribe to my Studio News via links on my website or Instagram account profile. I regularly post my latest studio news on my rosemarywarmingtonart Facebook page.

How do I buy paintings from you?

All paintings are available for purchase within Australia through this website.

You can contact me directly & my website has a contact page to help you do this? All you need to say is ‘I’m interested in this (name of painting) ‘ I can then get back to you and answer any of your questions.

If a painting is sold it will show as ‘SOLD’ on the website.

Please note, I am not accepting international purchases. I am only accepting Australian purchases that are for shipping in Australia.

What’s the process for purchasing a painting?

Once you have decided on a painting you need to contact me. You can contact me using the contact form on this website, with the details of the painting you like. I will get back to you within 24 hours or sooner, to discuss the best payment and shipping arrangements and answer any of your questions.

Alternatively you can access selected paintings via third part websites such as BMGART .

Are the paintings ready to hang ?

Yes the paintings are ready to hang/display and this is stated in the painting description on this website.

The stretched canvases come with a wire across the back, so your painting is ready to hang as soon as it is delivered to your home.

Unless otherwise stated, small works on paper come with a frame for display and this will be stated next to the description of the work.

Do you ship internationally?

No, I do not ship internationally. I’m currently only shipping within Australia.

Shipping

How will my painting be wrapped?
It depends on the size, but paintings are packed very carefully in sturdy cardboard with corner protection with layers of bubble wrap, to arrive safely and ready to hang.

Larger paintings may require specialist wrapping and additional costs. This will be discussed with you prior to finalising your purchase .

Time frame: Orders sent within Australia usually arrive within 10 days from the date of shipping.

Please note possible delays because of COVID. Whilst most orders will still arrive within expected time frames, there are some unpredictable delays that are out of my control. Please be understanding of this.

Please email me if you have any other questions in regard to shipping.

What’s your return/exchange policy?

Unfortunately all sales are final, no returns or exchanges are made due to the fragile nature of the artworks. Because it’s your responsibility to select and purchase your painting, it’s important that you check the size of the painting and all your other requirements before your purchase.

The only exception on returns, and this is for original paintings only, is in the unlikely event that your original artwork is damaged during shipping. If this occurs you must please contact me within 24 hours of receiving this artwork with photographs of the damaged goods,  so we can discuss further.

Please email me directly rosemarywarmington@gmail.com prior to purchase with any questions or concerns.

All artwork is subject to copyright, and remains the intellectual and creative property of Rosemary WARMINGTON. It may not be distributed, printed or copied (for business, reselling or corporate use) without my permission.
